NASA announced a new Hackathon to make use of all the data and information it collects. The goal of my challenge “Discovering Science Connections” is to create educational interactive tools to help people learn about the universe and make them more interested in space and earth science.
Most people cannot afford to be part of a space startup and most people who want to be involved with space do not have the background in STEM to be able to do so or fear not to find a foothold in space.
This leads to a lot of frustrated people around the globe and a lot of unseen talent. This is where SWARM INNOVATION comes in.
It is also a place where huge companies with a lot of funding can innovate and change the future of humanity. However, space is a frontier that is controlled by a few companies and is closed off to the majority of people who do not have a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) background.
SWARM INNOVATION is a NASA Space Apps Challenge Team that is working to educate the world about sustainability, space exploration, NASA's role in it, NASA's programs, technology, and resources available to help Astropreneurs grow. We are excited to help all furious Explorers be able to also learn about innovation processes through our webapp.
We will build an Interactive Education Catalyst for Space Enthusiasts in STEM and far beyond! The goal of SWARM INNOVATION is to create a global network of innovators and entrepreneurs who will create and deliver sustainable products and services to the market through collaboration and co-creation.
Space is a part of our everyday lives. We should learn about it!
